ESD, here I am - FINALLY! WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I just can't believe it! Yes I can - I knew I could do it- it just SEEMED to take forever, but certainly well worth the wait!

First and foremost, I thank God, our Heavenly Father for making me see that "Work at Home" ad - I definitely was not looking for a work at home opportunity after being scammed numerous times, but was just browsing around looking at jobs for my son, and this ad kept popping up everywhere - I couldn't miss it! Skeptic that I was after working many home-based businesses, finally, I thought "ok, let's see what's WRONG with this company." I spent two solid weeks researching Ameriplan; - LOOKING for something wrong - I found nothing and the credentials were GREAT! And the provider base included Walgreens, Sears, JCPenneys, Walmart, Target - these large companies certainly wouldn't affiliate themselves with a company that was not reputable! So, I took the plunge!

When I signed up with AmeriPlan I got a very slow start for various reasons. It was also a very hectic time for our family, plus I signed up right before the holiday season, my daughter soon after having her second child and needing help, etc. etc. I didn't have time for myself let alone starting a business, but I was bound and determined to make it work - to reach my two why's 1) stop living from paycheck to paycheck, and 2) help my husband who works so hard and so many hours, to retire early. The only time I had to myself was in the middle of the night so I had no real opportunities to make presentations so ... I trained and researched the company, policies, procedures, scripts, how to do this and how to do that, prepared my fliers, ads business cards. Eventually, I started placing ads on the internet even if it was only one a night. I signed up one IBO a month - HEY! It was a start!

Finally, January 1st my new year's resolution was to go "full bull" and really blast this business like crazy all over creation. I rolled up my sleeves, worked hard for my first goal of reaching RSD - and did it only 17 days! - RSD. I couldn't believe I did it! I knew I could do it in under 30 days, but 17! I was on cloud 9!
My next goal was to FIRE MY BOSS! DONE! I couldn't be happier - I'm working at home full time and loving every minute of it!

Next goal ... SRSD ... took a bit longer, but ... I DID FINALLY DID IT!

In reality, the credit really goes to my team - I could not have done it without them ... they are SO AWESOME and I am so VERY proud of each and every one of them. Most of all, I thank the Good Lord above for guiding me to this wonderful blessing, Ameriplan, and giving me the gift of knowledge to train, help and educate not only my team, but others as well. Love and hugs to all of you!

I made it! RSD!! WOOO what a rush!!!

I had spent so much time looking for a part time job. But being a one car family, I really needed something that would work around my schedule. I was getting desperate selling health and beauty products from home. I never looked for work on Craigslist, but my husband asked me to look at an ad he saw for a receptionist job. It sounded great, but still would be more of a burden than helpful. I continued browsing through craigslist when I ran into and ad that said home base phone interviews were being given.

My thoughts were YEAH RIGHT WORK FROM HOME! But just for fun I replied to the ad. I received an email back asking me to check out her site and listen to this recording. I did both and was excited but I was still skeptical. My husband and I researched the internet looking for anything and everything we could find bad about the company. But nothing came up that scared me away. In fact I was ready to sign up. Natalie called me, (she does not know this), but there was no need for her presentation. I was sold and ready to get started.

I started the training then thought to myself, Oh no what is this. It's just so confusing!. After calling Natalie a dozen times and a dozen emails, she always reassured me that it was ok and I am doing great. After 3 days of training (yes it took me 3 days) I was ready to get money rolling in. WHERE DO I START??? I made my first call with Natalie by my side. I was still a little scared that maybe this is not for me. I sat at my computer playing on facebook instead of trying to make this work. Then my toddler came up to me wanting to sit on lap. When I looked at his little face I thought I have to do this for him. I need make this work because I don't want to leave him with a stranger. Later that day I signed my first IBO, then before I knew it I had three IBOs .Then I joined one of Kristi's calls with Pattie as a guest speaker. Afterwards my thoughts were, If Kristi and Pattie can do this, I am going to do this, I want this! I will have what they have. I set a goal to make RSD by a certain time and I missed my timeline by a week because my son was sick. I still accomplished my first goal- RSD!!!!!!!! I want to thank Natalie for being such an inspiration to me. I want to thank everyone who cheered me on along the way. My husband, Jennifer, Jayme, Kristie and Patti. But most of all I would like to thank the Freedom At Home Team. I am so proud to be part of this team I wish I would of known about Ameriplan a year ago. It is always sad to hear about great people passing on. Jim Rohn is a true example of greatness. He took his last breath on Saturday, December 5, 2009.

I was going through my emails at about 12:30am this morning and was struck by an email from Jerry Clark, a motivational speaker and trainer who sent his condolences for this great man. Personally, I didn't know too much about Jim Rohn, but heard about him on passing. So, I had to know who this man was. Now I see his great impact on so many people's lives and now even though he is gone, he will be with us forever.

For those of you who knew him, got the chance to attend one of his training events, or those who are new to the knowledge that he delivered. Here is a great tribute to get you started. I do hope this will help you to become the leader that you are destined to be in your business.

I remember when I joined my very first MLM. I was fresh meat and really wanted to support my good friend. On the other hand, those who have done their research, saw the need of the product or service, developed an interest in not only how much money they could make, but how they could help the people they would service. This is PASSION.

It wasn’t until a couple years later, that I realized how important choosing the right business was FOR ME. I wanted to learn how to be a better marketer, the marketing tools needed, and how to be a leader for the team I was building. It became my endless PASSION to be the best and although many days I worked with minimal success, I kept pushing because I had finally found the passion for me.

So, how do you avoid the “Hype vs. Passion Influence”? First, do your due-diligence. Know your niche and market of interest. If you are not into make-ups and creams, don’t settle for the hype. Be wise and realistic, steer clear of those opportunities. If you are a person who would rather work from home in your pajamas than dress up in a suit and do house parties, then look for the opportunities that allow you to set your own rules from home on your computer and phone. Also LISTEN! This is a quality that many people lack when they first get started. If what you see is not matching up with what is being said, then I would run. If you listen carefully, you will know who is best to work with versus who is all hype. This is shown in the way they posture themselves over the phone, on a video, or even in person. You know the gut feeling you get when you are supposed to avoid something or take that leap. Follow that intuition. We have it for a reason.

If You Have Children, Opening This Article Is Going To Induce A Serious Reality Check

From news broadcasts all across the country, on Tuesday, October 27, 2009, mourners said their goodbyes to a 7-year old girl whose body was found in a landfill after she disappeared while walking home from school. The killer has still not been found, but hopeful will be apprehended soon. She was known to many as “a community hugger”. Her name was Somer.

Prior to this final day of rest, the community held fundraising events to raise monies for Somer’s burial and also helped many families protect their child from the same occurrence. This is what induced a serious reality check within me and for the lives of our youth across the U.S. They were given the opportunity to complete fingerprinting kits enthusiastically endorsed by the FBI and National Sheriff‘s Association, for their own children to keep in the home. The fingerprinting would allow for a more detailed and immediate identification for their children in this similar situation and others. The program was created by the American Football Coaches Association and is known as the National Child Identification Program.

According to U.S statistics, each year, more than 800,000 children go missing, that’s 1 child every 40 seconds. When the AFCA began this program less than 2 percent of families had their child’s fingerprints on file. Their inkless fingerprinting kits provided to the families, allowed for many parents to have this necessary information and way to have updated identification of their children on hand to keep in the home. In case of an emergency, the parents can give this card to authorities to assist in the effort of locating or identifying a child. Here are two scenarios to explain:

SCENARIO #1: Rebecca, age 11 is abducted by her father, who is divorcing her mother. She is taken from Phoenix, AZ to Atlanta, GA. Five years has passed and Rebecca’s mom still doesn’t know where she is. On Rebecca’s 16th birthday, she goes to the Dept. of Motor Vehicles to get her driver’s license where they scan her fingerprints. The DMV database automatically sends Rebecca’s information to the National Crimes Information Center and the fingerprint match the record of a missing child in Arizona and within days the police reunites Rebecca with her mother.

SCENARIO #2: Marcus, age 14, runs away from home in Detroit. After 6 months he is arrested for shoplifting groceries and fingerprinted in Chicago, IL. When his fingerprints are sent to the National Crimes Information Center, it is shown that he is a runaway. Detroit police are notified and Marcus is reunited with his parents.

We may not be able to protect our children from every obstacle life brings, but we can learn to use the preventive resources we do have.

Five Ways to Master Twitter's "Tweet Etiquette" For Endless Marketing Success

We all know the importance of being courteous and respectful to our fellow man. There is no difference when it comes to social networking and in this case the powerful Twitter. Joel Comm, author of Twitter Power, gives some great tips on making sure that within those 140 characters on Twitter, you are using them wisely. In every conversation you have with a colleague or within a business meeting, there is a certain amount of etiquette that is expected. The same goes with Twitter. So what is the tweet etiquette? I'm glad you asked. I have listed five ways to master Twitter's "tweet etiquette" for endless marketing success in your business.

1. Don't Spam.

On Twitter, spammers don't last and they don't build followers. The ones they get don't even read their tweets.

If your bio area shows you are following a massive amount of people and only a handful of people following you back, then you are most likely looked at as a spammer.

Most spammers tweet this type of information all day long, for example: "I've just put up a new blog post--check it out!" or "Sign up for my RSS feed!"

2. Follow style rules.

You want to make sure your tweets are in letter form, no abbreviations, for example "Welcome 2 my page". Make sure everything is spelled out. Sometimes people also will use twitter from their mobile phones, which increased the awareness of this by Joel.

3. Give credit for retweets.

If someone spot a good Tweet, they can pass it on to their own followers, and soon its spreading right across the Twitterverse, according to Joel. For a marketer, that's like hitting the jackpot. On Twitter, it's done by retweeting. To retweet someone's content, good etiquette is to type the following: Retweet@Username of person: original tweet

4. Stick to 140 characters.

You have to stick to 140 characters because that's all Twitter gives you, but also because that's all that will fit through SMS systems.

It's not a great idea to start a thought and not finish it inside one tweet. People like to take in the entire thought in one tweet, not get routed to a continuation with a url link.

5. Follow people who follow you.

It is really up to you how you want to pursue this. Some leaders with lots of followers, reward their visitors for following them. Others are a little choosier if they have massive people or want to stick to conversations only about a particular topic. Really, you be the judge.

"Twitter Power" really explains ways you can improve your business conversion rates by just tweeting. More effective tweeting approaches will help you become more interesting to the right people in your market.

Your future customer will first look to you to see if you can be trusted. Once they have built a level of trust with you, then they will want to know how interesting you are through the content you provide. On twitter, you are given 140 characters to create a level of interest with the right people in your market. Joel Comm, author of Twitter Power, did a great job of giving some ways of tweeting to get you started and I have highlight them here for you.

Link Tweets: “This Is What I’m Working On Now.”
This a broadcast tweet. By using, “Twitterfeed.com” you are able to set up to look for new content in your blog, etc, to post as a tweet on Twitter. This is an automated service for free to help you generate more of a viewer base.

Classic Tweets: “This is What I’m Doing Now.”
This is what Twitter was created for in the first place. But, you have to use this wisely to draw more people to you by not only saying, “Heading to the library” or “About to take a nap”, Joel suggests that you also say what you think about what you’re doing or explain why you’re doing it. This makes your tweet more interesting.

Opinion Tweets: “This is What I’m Thinking Now.”
Some Twitter purists believe that your tweets should be about actions, rather than your opinions. However, Joel suggests that you share your opinion because those that do not are impersonal; companies without opinions look impartial. He says that he loves giving his opinions on a lot of topics and probably have lost followers and potential customers due to his forwardness. He does credit himself for being open and his followers will always know where he stands on different things. It’s at your discretion.

Mission Accomplished Tweets: “This Is What I’ve Just Done.”
Announcing that “I’ve just done this” is also another way of saying “What Do You Think Of This.” This technique generates replies and even questions. For example: Tell people that you just broke $1000 in monthly AdSense earnings, and you can be confident that one of your followers will congratulate you …and ask you how you did it. This is a great way to fill your timeline and get people interested in more about you.

Question Tweets: “Can You Help Me Do Something Now?”
A great way to turn your followers from readers into contributors is to ask a question. Twitterers toss out requests for help from anyone in their followers list who might have some good advise. Also remember, questions don’t have to be requests for information. They can be discussion starters. By asking your followers about their views on a topic, you can better see how engaged your followers are.

Picture Tweets: “Look At What I’ve Been Doing.”
Twitter has made it where you cannot actually put a picture inside your tweets, but with “TwitPic“ (www.TwitPic.com), you can share your experience in picture and they will be sent to your twitter profile for everyone to see. Joel says, it’s very neat, very simple and a very good way to share one more type of information with your followers.

Week 6 Boot Camp: Team Leader Experience with Overcoming Common Objections

You know with any business you are going to have to face the ultimate objection. It is something that most of us are not used to, even as children. As a child, no one wants to hear the word, "NO!". It immediately sends off massive signals to the brain that things are not going well and its time to run for cover.

My Week 6 Boot Camp session took a strange turn. The little group wasn't too concerned with the objections covered on the night before. They found the information to be self-explanatory. However, it came to a point for me to step up and let my attendees know more about how to withstand the test and the gigantic wall that most of them felt while on the call. On this day, the group felt as if they had exhausted all their possibilities and some even thought that they had no support, but what was set up for them on our continual weekly Boot Camp. I had to immediately let them know that "where they were at this particular moment is actually the best place to be". You might even ask yourself, Why is that so?

Every time in my own life when I felt like I had reached a boiling point and that was it, something came to me in an idea to rebuke my way of thinking. Or, someone would call me about my business and I would begin to get more email requests from my landing pages. Even to this day I wonder why that would happen all the time. I can only think that something bigger than me knows my desires, passion, and intentions and want to see how low I can go without hitting the surface.

How low can I allow myself to reach before I buckle under the pressure? Many people everyday have big dreams and hopes for their new business ventures. They want it to be their way out and when they get into it and start on their WHY journey, it turns into a "how bad do you want it?" instead. So how bad you want your business to succeed? How obvious will your results be?

Time changes things. I have heard this many times and believe in it completely. If there were no tests, there would be no reason to strive. I told my group that where they were, looking at that wall, had put them closer to achieving what they set out to do. They could've all given up, but they all are plowing through the tests and finding alternate solutions. They have reached their turning point.

The closer you get to what you want, you might as well expect the test of will and determination to challenge you. No one said it would be easy. However, I am sure from my personal experiences that joy does come in the morning.

Twitter Power by Joel Comm: Develop the habit of consistently providing quality information and resources to your twitter community everyday. You will begin to attract trusted viewers to your business, products, and services. Remember quality content is best.

1. Look for people you already know.

Important: Make sure your Twitter profile is COMPLETELY set up! Then hit the "Find People" link at the top of the Twitter page, enter your email address and password, and let Twitter do the searching. The site will them return all the people in your list who are on twitter. Follow them, reply to some of their tweets or send them a personal message to make sure that they know you're following them, and there's good chance they'll follow you back.

2. Tweet your blog

A most common goal of a good Twitter presence will often be to direct followers to your website. They can then click on your ads and read your posts, which are longer than just 140 characters. They can also purchase your products and services. But another aim is to build a closer connection with the users you have, so they become regular visitors and potentially customers. You can easily let them know of new posts to your blog by tweeting them on Twitter. This also increases your followers!

3. Pay your followers!

This may not sound like the smartest or cheapest, but it's a way to bring in large numbers of followers. For example: Giving away freebies in the marketing standard. You create goodwill, let potential customers try your products before they buy, and build a list of clients that you can draw on in the future.

IMPORTANT: However, make sure to follow the simple rule of what you give ALWAYS should cost you little BUT have high value to the recipient, you should find that offering freebies can have a fantastic effect on your revenues.
Lastly, give away a freebie to every new follower to your twitter page and once you receive their email address to send their freebie by email, you will be building an email list of people interested in what you have to offer.

4. Respond to requests.

People use it to spark conversations. And they use it to JOIN conversations. Conversations are open and public, which makes them more valuable because if someone is following a conversation and is impressed with someone, they can follow the link back to that person's profile and follow them.

Remember, quality comments are best. According to Joel, saying, "Yeah, I'm having trouble with that too..." or quoting from Wikipedia is not going to do you any good. People follow your tweets if they feel they are any good or worth them reading. That's why it's a good idea to answer questions about your subject rather than any question you happen to see.

5. Mobilize your social network.

Connect your Tweets to other social sites such as Facebook or Myspace. You are able to let people see even more about you.

6. Put your Twitter name in your signatures.

Joel says, "Such an easy thing to do, such an old idea...and so often forgotten. It's a great way to alert all your people in your forums, email lists, and chat locations, that you are on Twitter. Get more followers too!

7. Run a contest.

Joel says, "Another way is to include discount codes in the tweets to keep people reading.
Joel explains how Jason Cormier on Twitter, who runs a search marketing and social media agency, takes a very different approach for his clients. He helps them to organize contests on Twitter.

SmartyPig, for example, a kind of online savings bank, asks a question on Twitter at a specific time. Followers have 15 minutes to reply. Three winners are then selected at random from those sent in the correct answer and receive a $100 gift card. One contest generated almost 100 correct answers in the space of fifteen minutes.

Learn How to Make the Grade In Any Business With Just Five Simple Steps

Why wasn’t there cheat sheets available for all the classes you had to sit through to prove your proficiency? The days in the classroom are gone. It’s time to make the grade that will prove financially rewarding. Here are just five simple steps that will help you to learn how to make the grade in any business.

Step 1: Brainstorm and Create a Vision
Remove the noise and focus on what is most important in your life when it comes to your current and future plans.
When you sit down, brainstorm, and create a vision for yourself, you are then able to see what you really want and release what is not at all important. You can begin with a piece of paper and by making two columns and writing "What I want" and "What I don't want". Then begin filling in each column. The things that you want versus don't want goes beyond your material situations and may extend into an attitude adjustment, or better communication, for example. You know yourself better than anyone. Once you've done this, take the “What I don’t want” side and tear it up and just keep the “What I want” in eyes reach everyday so that you will be reminded each day while working on your business. Remember, negative thoughts are what we want to keep out!

Step 2: Find Support in a Team or Mentoring Coach
When you need support, there should be a team or person available to help you with any real problems or even questions you may have. If you are considering any kind of business, that team should promote open communication and room for continual growth. If you are a person who would rather work alone and with a particular mentoring coach, there are many online and in social networking sites who would love to help you but be specific about what you want. Your time and their time is very precious, so use it wisely.

Step 3: Pick up a book
If you speak with anyone who has become successful in any form of business, they will tell you that personal development is necessary. There are books galore just waiting to be read. They hold so many tips and keys to success. Businesses in all industries are booming and many innovative concepts are being explained in books, even today.

Do a search of the top book titles in the industry you are interested in and their authors. Once you've found them, set a goal for yourself to read a book a month and you could even do a blog series on them about what you've learned. This will help you choose the right business for you and also your incoming team members or partners will grow by following those same tools you have used, in turn, creating unlimited duplication.

Step 4: Take Educated Risks
If you never start the race, you will never know how far you could‘ve gone. Risks are taken everyday. When you get into your car and drive to work or the market, you are taking a risk. When you continue to sit, just one more day, in a job that you know is falling apart, you are taking a major risk. However, the educated risks are the ones that live the test of time and help us to see the many possibilities for ourselves.

Step 5: Surround Yourself and Time with Successful People
If you want to be successful in any business, then you may want to evaluate who is in your immediate social circle. The successful people surround themselves with other successful people. If you want to be wealthy, then you must understand what a wealthy person practices to be so. The Quick Way to Mastering the Blogger Way of Marketing Your Business

Most people create the blog, create their first post, and then end up abandoning their blog in a week or two. The reason is because they just don’t have any idea how to make it work with their business. You continuously hear people telling you that blogging is one of the BEST new ways of marketing and it can drive massive traffic to your business in no time. They tell you to post daily and watch for the google spiders to come and drive your blog to the top of the rankings. However, you follow all the lingo and the instruction, but to much wasted time, you are left with no more traffic than you had when you first started. So, what do you do next? During my recent Team Leader Call with my select number of attendees, I answered this very specific problem with a solution that really is easy to implement. It is very important to understand that the problem is not with you, but with what you are posting to your blog as content. It is great to want to speak about the benefits of your business, but not in the same light as you might think. People today are more attracted to average life endeavors, hobbies, past-times, and then they are drawn to more once they become curious enough about you to ask for more. When they ask for more, they will then want to subscribe to your blog and keep tabs on your postings. In this regard, you have permission to not just boast about your business, but show how your business ties into this past-time, hobby, or family experience you can’t stop talking about every week. Once your audience relates to you as a person, then they are more likely to ring the doorbell for tea and light conversation with you about your business and how you are doing what you are doing to create happy times in your life.

Once my select number of attendees grabbed hold of this information, they were able to spin their wheels and open their minds to so many possibilities with regards to their blogs. Some, who were not even interested in blogging, now want to get started, but really because they were fearful. The new bloggers are talking about cooking simple, but delicious meals, the health factors that changed their child’s life, love for retired horses and their sheltering services, but ultimately, getting to the final outcome of sharing how their passions in life tie into their businesses.

Who Are You on these social networking sites? Social Networking has become the leading way in branding yourself as a marketer. If you are interested in more people taking you seriously and even wanting to learn more about what you have to offer, you have to give them a little piece of you. And, I am not only talking about content, but, a little bit of your happy face.

I used to hear as a little girl that a picture is worth more than a thousand words. It speaks to people's imagination and makes them want to reach out and learn or do more. It is a great opportunity each time you are out on a social networking site, to share your knowledge and ideas. If a person sees you as a REAL person, they are then more likely to trust you and even sometimes listen more effectively to what you are offering as far as your business goes. According to Twitter Power by Joel Comm, he says that you are more likely to be labeled as an Expert and increase your followers with a clear picture of yourself.

In today's world, people are looking at YOU and not your business. They will be looking to YOU to be that leader and the solution to their problems. Your first step is to make your self known with a welcoming picture. Remember, all a prospect has to go by is that first impression, which is your profile picture.

Week 5 Boot Camp: Team Leader Experience with Presentations and Facing Your Fears

Before I opened my Week 5 Boot Camp Team Leader Session today with the group, I was trying to overcome a major headache. I napped and drank green tea and didn't quite know why there was this pain in my head. However, with pain and all I got all my numbers together, top achiever count and the topic of discussion together for the call.

I can never assume I know how my team leader calls will turn out each week. They even surprise me and out comes an intuitive amount of passion and knowledge to be given to my attendees. But, I can say that it was truly a turning point in each of my attendee's businesses. I began by asking each attendee how their week went, there were successes in their marketing efforts and some were inquiring about blogging, which appeared to take hold of the conversation for a while. This also became the new project for many of them this week.

I made the key advise to make sure that when they do begin their blog marketing to start with their own passion and NOT lead with their business. It would be unwise to lead with your business because so many people are doing that with little success. Find a passion or something you love to do in your free time or with your family that you can talk about for days and I do mean for days! Once you've brainstormed that, then start writing your blog posts. I did recommend at lead 2-5 posts weekly because google spiders will be looking for updated, fresh, and original content. Now, we had a little time left to discuss the presentation and how to speak to our particular prospects who have inquired about joining our team and company. I made sure to let everyone know that it is NOT ABOUT THEM! It is ALL ABOUT THE PERSON ON THE OTHER LINE. They are the one's who needs to make the educated decision. I also referenced an excerpt from my favorite book, stating along the line that: one cannot force his will power on anyone even if they know it would be good for them because they will not receive the results they seek anyway from this. So, no matter what business you are in, it is very important to "listen". You will learn a person's WHY and if the opportunity is even right for them.

I didn't get any questions on facing fears, but I did give my top talkers for the week a free gift of the book The Success Principles of Manifesting. This will definitely lead anyone out of the fear factor. So, if interested, check this out. It will guide you right.

So, by the end of the call, I realized that my headache had ceased to exist and maybe I had so much information locked up inside that I needed to expel. I feel great now and can't wait to hear the good news next week.

Week 4 Boot Camp: Team Leader Experience with Sizzle Cards and Poly Bags

I just completed my Week 4 Team Leader call with my small, intimate, group in our Boot Camp. I spent more time asking them about how their weeks went and what they achieved. The topic to follow up on had to do with Offline Marketing and Post Card Leads. They are really moving aggressively, being that the holidays are very quickly approaching.

I concentrated on Sizzle Cards and Polybags. These are great for any business doing offline marketing because you are continuously filling your pipeline with more possible prospects.

* The sizzle cards (drop cards) can be the size of a business card or post card. They are used whenever you are out and you just want to leave your information for someone to keep just in case. They have your name and contact information on it and what you have to offer. They are sometimes made to stand out in neon-yellow or orange and work wonders for any business. Some people leave them in laundry mats, restaurant tables with their tips, conversing with someone in general, on cars, on counter tops of businesses in your local area with permission, etc. They can also be passed on to someone else who may need your services who didn't recieve the actual card in hand because that person could recommend you to their friends, etc.

Here's an example of a sizzle card (drop card):

* The Polybags are great because you can stick them on any surface and put your flyer or cards in the pouch for people to pick up freely. Some people put them at gas station pumps so people can grab one. I recommend speaking with the attendant also to see if this is okay to save you a pouch being removed. You can put them in post offices on job employment or help wanted boards in grocery stores, etc. You stand out from your competition.

If you are interested in getting some of these for your business, you can do a search on the best companies out there who you feel will give you the best deals. They are great for filling your pipeline and getting call-backs from new customers when it is cold outside and you're working from home. Week 3 Boot Camp: Team Leader Experience with Social Networking and Online Marketing

I was assigned as one of the Team Leaders on the Freedom at Home Team Boot Camp. We have been going strong for the past three (3) weeks now and it's been great. My calls are always on Monday for the next 5 more weeks and it has opened my eyes to all the knowledge I have hidden inside me that just comes out on these calls. I just decided today to kind of give you a general overview of what's being talked about for the next 5 weeks and you can jump in anytime as well.

This week was concentrating on Social Networking and Online Marketing. I really love marketing online because now I get people contacting me through my videos, articles, websites, free classifieds, etc. It feels good to know that after beginning my online journey back in March 2009, I have learned so much and covered so much ground already. I find myself happy and excited to share with my group all that I know so they can duplicate my success.

In everything you do, which most teach online, you want to have others duplicate your results. This really lets you know that what you are doing is working and can be achieved by more than just you with just as much consistency as you put in. I have a long way to go and much more ground to cover that I am excited to work for.

Pinging your blog after you post is another essential tool for driving traffic your way. I personally use a tool called AutoPinger (http://autopinger.com) to get my pings across to various blog engines out there on the web. There are other tools of this sort available, too. Do a quick Google search if you're looking for something different, but don't neglect the power of tools like AutoPinger.

Word of Mouth

Just telling people about your blog, whether it be in person or through posts on forums or other blogs, is a great way to bring people! It's personable and shows you have a passion for what you do. For example:

Okay, so that was a shameless plug for my own blog, but you get the point! Do whatever it takes to get the word out that you've got a blog and you're looking to have your message heard. 5 Steps to be Successful in a Home Business

In order to be successful in a home business, it is important to understand the following five (5) steps.

Step 1: Brainstorm and Create a Vision

Remove the noise and focus on what is most important in your life when it comes to your current and future plans. When you sit down and brainstorm and create a vision for yourself, you then are able to see what you really want and release what is not at all important. You can do this brainstorming with a piece of paper and by making two columns and writing "What I want" and "What I don't want". Then begin filling in each column. The things that you want versus don't want goes beyond the material and can be an attitude adjustment, or better communication, for example. You know you better than anyone. Once you've done this, take the don't want side and tear it up and just keep the wants in eyes reach so that you will be reminded each day while working on your home business. Remember, negative thoughts are what we work to keep out!

Step 2: Find Support in a Team or Mentoring Coach

When you have questions, there should be a team or person available to help you find the answers. If you are considering a home business, that team should promote open communication because it's not like working in a cubicle next to your coworkers. Time to grow and become better is accelerate when their is a solid support system in place. If you are a person who would rather work alone and with a particular mentoring coach, there are many online and in social networking site who would love to help you be successful for the praise later. There are so many mentoring coaches, but the key is the find the one who is real with you and understand your home business and what goals you are dying to achieve.

Step 3: Pick up a book

If you speak with anyone who has become successful in any form of business, they will tell you that personal development is necessary. There are book galore, waiting to be read. They hold so many tips and keys to success. Home business is booming and many innovative ways are being explained in books. Do a search of the top book titles in Home Business and their authors. Once you've found them, set a goal for yourself to read a book a month and you could even do a blog series on them about what you've learned. Step 4: Take Educated Risks

I was recently researching more ways to help people be more successful from home and I came across an article geared more towards the Older Worker. They understand what hard work is and how to make things happen from all the experience in life they have endured in their first careers. Youtube is a great way to get traffic to you and your business fast. Set up a free account and get started spreading the word about your business. Please when you join or if you already have an account please subscribe to my channel HelpingThruBizTV as I will do the same as long as you notify me through YouTube.

If you do not want to get in front of the camera you can launch picture slideshows or put your voice on a mp3 or podcasting and speak and upload that to the video attach some photos and you are a video marketer.

Let's Talk #9: Video Marketing Doesn't Have to Be Intimidating

When I recently decided to implement video marketing into my repertoire of business tools, I was a little intimidated by the whole act of having someone I didn't know venture into my world. Earlier, I had done my research on everyone, from the novice to the proclaimed experts on the web and had also used a great set of business tools to instruct me on how to start and where this could possibly take me if I opened myself up to it. My ultimate purpose was to reach the masses on the importance of heatlh care to the network marketer as well as the average family.

How would I know if my audiences would receive my message? How would I know if what I was saying, would speak to them? What were the basics I had to get across before introducing the assistance I would ultimately provide? All of the following questions entered my mind and then finally landed on one option, JUST DO IT! (Nike got it right) I decided to take the plunge and now have put up my first 6 videos on YouTube which I believe will connect with novice network marketers and hesitant prospects interested in where they can grab a spot in the pool.

I have had the opportunity to become friends with some network marketing gurus who know their stuff. I am so happy each day to be subscribed to their videos to see what's new so that I may be able to introduce their tools of choice to others after my own personal research of them. I have found that my own voice doesn't have to only be in article or blog writing, but through myself putting myself out there to be seen by everyone all over the world.

This form of marketing does come with a price to pay if the presenter is not authentic. I watch the professionals who have been around for a while and how they are always coming up with new products, service, advise. It allows for me to see that they are really enriched in their purpose. However, there are some who jumped on board because of the great results they heard and they wonder why no one is connecting with them or want to believe them. There are some who were great before and are no longer here. What will your success do to your desire to teach others?

It takes a lot of energy for someone to say something negative than something great. I never understood why some people find it so meaningful to belittle another person who is doing something to change their situation. However, you must understand that this comes with the territory in Network Marketing. You are one of the few who have chosen a path less traveled and one that will ultimately take you to where they would never dare tread.

Understand and digest these for a stronger you:

*Believe that you are better than your situation

*Know that no matter how hard the fall that you can always try again, but better learned

*Attract into your mind the thought of prosperity, peace, and love and it will be given to you

*Knock down the doubt within yourself by meditating and or going into your quiet place

*Know that being busy means doing things that will eventually create ACTION or FORWARD MOVEMENT

* Remove those bad apples from your circle and replace them with better grown apples for the long journey ahead

*Love yourself and be true to yourself even when the lights are not on you.

*Wake up and lie down knowing that quitting is not an option because you were destined for success and greatness

I felt so led to send this out to you today. Also, know that I am practicing what I preach here because it has changed my mindset and life for the better. Have fun my new or novice network marketer and know that I am on your team.

As a network marketer, everyday I speak with people struggling to maintain their businesses on a budget. They spend all the dollars they have on advertising and not a lot of return comes from their investments. I hear, "Can you really have a budget and grow in internet or network marketing? Is there really a concept of "Building on a Budget".

When you are in an industry such as this, you thrive on reaching others to present or market your products and services. Without people to talk to, you are dead in the water. Lead generation companies make loads of money off the novice network marketer because they don't know a better way. You take a chance with your well-earned money every time you purchase a lead. The people may not even be interested in a business, let alone want to buy your products or services.

I have done a lot of research and leg work to understand the concept of building on a budget and reaching those people who really have a desire for what I do. I have experienced many cuts and bruises and not until recently have I understood how WRONG I have been and CHANGED my way of thinking.

I took these free videos and purchased a ridiculously low priced book from a gentleman named Mike Dillard. Within two weeks of applying the techniques he teaches, I am now getting as many as 10 new qualified prospects per day. I personally speak to all my leads as well to let them know that I care and want to help them to be successful.

The best part is that I did not spend much money while doing it.

Now I have the tools to grow my business without getting nickel and dimed to death.

Being in the network marketing industry and have seen so many come and go and others become successful, it is refreshing to see that we are making a name for ourselves as career network marketers. The economy will be good or bad, but it is up to YOU to be in control of YOUR destiny.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala—While her husband was searching for full time work, Jennifer Grissom of Birmingham decided to make a little money on the side on top of her full-time job.

“I had to find some way to get an extra line of income that worked in the hours I had available to me,” she said.

Since November, Jennifer’s been selling skin care products for a network marketing company.

The company relies on a network of sales consultants who recruit other people to sell the product as well.

The more people a sales consultant recruits, the bigger her potential earnings are.

It might sound like a pyramid scheme to some, but marketing experts say it’s not.

“These are legitimate businesses, though you want to make sure you’re working for a good business, always,” Dr. Betsy Holloway of Samford University’s Brock School of Business said.

It’s called “network marketing” or “multi-level marketing” and it’s been around for decades.

Doctor Holloway said direct retail like this has been growing for a decade, and there’s potential for it to get even bigger.

“I think in today’s economy with the layoffs that we have and people desperate to find work, there’s going to be increased demand in these sorts of opportunities.”

Jennifer Grissom said she had to overcome a preconceived stigma of network marketing and the fear of rejection.

“It’s not easy, but it is simple,” Grissom said. “You just have to be able to understand it, and be enthusiastic, without being annoying.”

She’s exceeding her expectations just three months after starting.

Experts advise if someone wants you to join a network marketing opportunity, take time to research the company.

Check to see if it belongs to the Direct Selling Association,a group that holds companies to strict standards of operation.

They say that can help ensure you’re joining a legitimate business, and not signing up for a risky scheme.

Let's Talk #4: Work at Home Scams have Given Network Marketers a Run for Their Money

According to an article by Eve Tahmincioglu on MSNBC.com many people are looking for other alternatives to supplement their incomes since the economic crisis. However, there are many scams out on the internet that may find their way into your inbox. They disguise themselves as a way to make money from home and also like to use network marketing as a way to draw you in with the idea of fast money.

I recommend some network marketing businesses out there today but you have do your own due-diligence. Sometimes your friends may give you a suggestion on a company or business opportunity, but you must do your part. Network Marketing also helps to refuel the economy and is a method used by businesses large and small, but can also land you in jail if you don't choose the right company.

Some of the specific scams mentioned in the article include:

An email saying you were randomly selected to become a mystery shopper and you can earn $500 to $800 a week.
An unsolicited email, or a job post about a work-at-home job involving freight.
Offers of training and pay for filling out medical bills. Typically the scam requires you to make an upfront payment for the "opportunity" and you never get paid for your work.

According to Network Marketing for Dummies, network marketing is a system for distributing goods and services through networks of thousands of independent salespeople, or distributors. The distributors earn money by selling goods and services and also by recruiting and sponsoring other salespeople who become part of your downline, or sales organization. Distributors earn commissions or bonuses on the sales revenue generated by their downline.

Lastly, if you are not into commission-based opportunities, don't submit for network marketing opportunities. This separates the 9-5 mentality individual from the person who takes their financial success into their own hands. Keep your eyes open into reality and know that any "real" opportunity will require hard work and training on your part.

In the health care industry of network marketing, I speak with stay at home moms everyday, with dreams to stay at home with their children and do away with daycare. With the economy growing more difficult for the average American family to survive on just one income, the stay at home mom is forced to go back to work. Direct sales is becoming the new wave in the fight for a new grasp on income reports a story on NPR.

Some are more affordable than others and you can market and work totally on your computer and phone (NPR article just notes face-to-face, but now internet marketing is the way to go). You have to see what works for you. However, please be very careful and find out all you can about a company.

In my field of business, I am always researching how the going and coming of Health care is affecting the average American, but what about the Network Marketer. They work and contribute to the economy and should have protection for themselves and their families.

When you hear about network marketers, you think about making lots of money and having financial freedom, but what if you had all the money in the world and fell ill before you could enjoy it. Some choose to take that chance and others go back to the beginning and ask themselves why they chose a career in network marketing; to spend time with family and friends, travel, retirement,and just to enjoy life.

Let's Talk #1: Getting Started in Network Marketing? How do you choose the right business for you?

There are many network marketing businesses out on the internet and offline as well. However, what sets some apart from others is the commitment and drive of the teams that are within the businesses. You can be successful with any network marketing business that "YOU" have a "PASSION" about.

So, how do you choose?

You research the market and the industries that you are drawn to and see if there is a "NEED" for what is being offered to you. Then research the company involved and see how credible they are because I hear from so many people who have lost lots of money from what was called a legitimate network marketing business. Lastly, if you have a good gut feeling about the company and its business and have the necessary funds to jump on board, then begin your journey. It is work like any job you would go to, but the rewards are based solely on you and your efforts to bring change and satisfaction into your life.
